Week3B: Developing a Brand

Welcome back to my blog guys. Today I’m going to talk about how I developed my brand/business. So, after spending 4 years in the detailing business and painting I felt like I gained enough experience to be able to start looking into starting my own detailing/painting business. At that point I didn’t know anything about business so I knew it was going to be difficult for me to start. So I remember coming home from work one day with ideas for the business. I sat down with my ex fiancé and presented to her the ideas. Long story short she helped me get started on this business I have my guiding me through the right steps beaded on her knowledge gained by research. Yes, while I worked my 8 hrs shifts she’d be at home researching what I had to do to get started. Sadly it didn’t work out for both of us but I still give credit where credit is due. Anyways let’s get into what I did to develop the business. First things first. Come up with a name. In my case it was kind of hard to find a name. R

Week3A: Aesthetics, Design, and Branding

What’s up everyone. Welcome to my blog. Today I did some research on four different websites. I chose 2 websites that I thought were poorly designed and 2 that I thought were very easily to deal with according to how organized and well designed they were. So I’ll be giving you guys my thoughts and opinions on how the 2 poorly designed websites can be better and how easy it is to handle a well designed website. Let’s start! So! First website I want to talk about is  https://best-electronics-ca.com . I believe this website is is poorly designed because it’s literally unorganized. When you bread “ best electronics “ on the url I’m sure you’re expecting to see pictures of the electronics with prices and a description of each item. Well on this website you don’t get that. All you get is a lot of writing and doesn’t have sections of certain items. Literally a scrambled egg. I literally got lazy to read everything. All I did was scroll down until I hit the bottom. I feel like if the owner of

Week2B: Business Research

Hello everyone and welcome back. Today I did research on 5 different automotive detailing businesses. 1. Detailing Groove https://instagram.com/detailgroove 2. PS1 Car Detailing Estética Automotriz http://ps1detailing.com 3. Detailing Girl  https://instagram.com/detailing_girl 4. Lumidetailig              https://lumidetailing.com 5. We Come To You Detailing https://wecometoyoudetailing.com Detail Groove  - Small Business Detail Groove started off as a mobile detailing. Based on the information found, the owner of this company started with no experience and learned as he worked on family and personal cars. Within time all the techniques and skills were achieved and managed to grow enough to be able to open a small shop. Detail Groove is located in Texas and is a business that focuses on detailing cars and also on making tutorial videos to help out the rookies out there trying to start a detailing business.  Social media I found being used is Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Week2A: Write A Positive Comment

So today I chose to write a comment or review I should say on Dr. Peggy’s Dental. I didn’t do it because it’s my favorite place. I did it because it’s the most recent service I’ve had from them. I wrote about the experience I had with them. Keep in mind it was my first time with them. I was in there for a deep cleaning and turned out to be more than that. Long story short I had to get 3 wisdom teeth removed and they had to do some bone harvesting plus add a crown.     They had to reschedule me due to some accident and they went out of their way to get me in on a Saturday to get the work done on me. Keep in mind they don’t open weekends. That helped me not miss work again during the week. The service was outstanding and they treat you very good. Based on my experience, I would really recommend Dr. Peggy’s Dental to friends and family. Dr. Peggy and her staff take really good care of you and always have an answer for your question. They truly make their clients their number 1 priority.

Week2A: Communication Between Business & Consumer

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. I’m going to start of by saying that social media is a BIG game changer when it comes down to communication between businesses and consumers. Social media has helped out a lot of business owners get known. All it takes is for one person to hit the like button or get services done by that business and sharing it on their page.     Friends and family will eventually see the post on their page and the likes will continue to come through. I say this from experience. Keep in mind I run a small detailing business but that’s besides the point right now. Social media also has a strong roll on problem solving. For example, Facebook allows the consumers to leave feedback based on the service they received. Let’s say a consumer wasn’t happy with the service provided and they rant about how bad the service was and what not. The notification will pop up on your phone if u have the app and will allow you to take immediate action to solve the problem to avoid
